Ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient wisdom (originally from India) that focuses on promoting health and well-being through a holistic approach.
The word 'Ayurveda' is derived from Sanskrit and means 'the science of life'. Although this does not refer to modern science, you could also say the wisdom or knowledge of life.
In Ayurveda, the unique constitutional composition of each individual is taken into account, and advice and treatment are tailored to the specific person. After all, everyone is unique.
The principles of Ayurveda are based on the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), which are made up of the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) and which together determine a person's body-mind type.
Through nutrition and lifestyle advice, among other things, Ayurveda strives to restore and maintain the natural balance, and through that enabling you to lead as healthy a life as possible.
