  • Stretch back, shoulders & hips

Contra-indications:

GETTING INTO THE POSE
  • From a kneeling position with the big toes together and the knees wide apart, bend forward on an exhalation with your torso resting between your thighs and your forehead on the mat.

  • Bring the sitting bones towards the heels as much as possible.

  • Stretch the arms forward shoulder width distence.

BREATH
  • Exhale: relax everything.

  • Inhale: Make length between the shoulder blades and the hands and between the neck and sitting bones.

- Or -

  • On the inhale, feel the pressure against your legs as your chest and abdomen expand and feel the ribs widen in all directions.

GETTING OUT OF THE POSE
  • Inhale: come to hands and knees.
